Games [4Diversity] Jam 2026 | Let’s Talk About Sex

On March 4, we organized the Games [4Diversity] Jam 2026: Let’s Talk About Sex during the InScience Festival in Nijmegen.

During the jam, three sex workers joined the group and shared their knowledge about their profession. Instead of talking about sex work from the outside, participants worked directly with people from the field. Their experiences, stories and perspectives became the starting point for new game concepts.

Over the course of the day, designers, developers, students and researchers translated these insights into a series of experimental game ideas. Some explored the social dynamics around the profession, others focused on decision making, boundaries, or the everyday realities of the work.

It was an intense and inspiring day, and it definitely tasted like more. Because of that, we are exploring the idea of organizing another jam later this year, possibly over a full weekend so teams have more time to build actual playable prototypes.
